WAITING ON A SPANKING What is it? Who gets it? Who doesn't? Why do we need it? Where does it come from?  These are answers that we really need to have answered  in order to understand the value and need of it in our lives.  Mercy is God NOT  giving us what we DESERVE to get.  Humm, remember when you were expecting a spanking from your Mom and she "let you go".. let it slide?   But the thing is , we kept expecting  it. Well, if you had a mother like mine.... You kinda walked slowly when you came into a room not knowing if she was just setting you up ..  to get you when you least expected.   But after awhile you began to relax a little more and finally you "Believed and Accepted the fact that she really did  let you go - or slide .   Sometimes it is difficult for us to receive GOD's Mercy. The religious world has preached and taught that GOD is going to "get you".  That GOD is waiting to punish us for ...

In The Beginning -  A New Mercy  This first post is dedicated to my son Dustin who became a second confirmation to me that it was time to begin this blog that has been on my mind for quite sometime. He called because he was looking through some bible study documents that were a part of a spiritual journey he had taken some time ago. I am so proud of my son and what GOD has done and is doing for and through him. He encourages and motivates me in so many ways.. like this .. lighting a fire and pushing me towards what I know GOD has called me to do. His study was talking about  the book of Genesis which  has many meanings but we are most familiar with it's meaning -" the beginning." The beginning - the start-  of something.   As we look at our lives we can recall many beginnings .  Some that we ignited others because circumstances caused the New start.      What I want to focus on with this Beginning is the Mercy of GOD . ...
